In most cases I use acrylics for wall murals and in conjunction with other materials in mixed media pieces. Often times my use of acrylics will include mixing the paint with pumice or irridescent medium or modeling paste to create an impasto effect.
This emblem was painted onto an 8 foot section of canoe that was assembled in July of 2006 to successfully launch the world's longest canoe, over 130 feet. The Benevolent Order or One-Eyed Brookies "BOOBs" sponsored this section.
